Two firms joined together in 1997 to form what today is RegentAtlantic Capital. The first firm, EB Advisory Corp, was founded in 1982 as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), and the second, Individual Asset Planning, began in 1983. The firm's name, Bugen Stuart Korn & Cordaro, changed in 2001 to become RegentAtlantic Capital, LLC.
Beginning in 1997 RegentAtlantic experienced significant growth. The
business grew from 11 employees and approximately $200 million under
management to now more than $2 billion in client assets and over 35
employees. One of the largest fee-only firms in the country, RegentAtlantic has retained its "client first" philosophy and a
collaborative culture among its financial professionals.
RegentAtlantic has been innovative, establishing a fee-only platform,
career tracks for employees, and the use of technology in all aspects of
managing the business and client portfolios. Among the honors the firm
regularly receives is the 2006 IMPACT™ Award from Schwab Institutional
for being "Best in Technology" among independent advisory firms in the
United States.
