Listed from 1991 to 1999 in the Best Lawyers in America, Bill practiced tax law for 25 years, specializing in employee benefits and estate planning, before joining RegentAtlantic in 1999. Bill manages client relationships and provides expertise to the firm's clients and advisors on estate planning, asset protection, retirement plan design, and charitable giving. He has presented programs for numerous professional organizations including the American and NJ State Bar Associations, the New Jersey Society of CPAs, the NJ Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and Practicing Law Institute. He has been a trustee of the Bonnie Brae School for Boys for 19 years, including four years as board president. He is also a trustee, executive committee member, and board vice president of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and is a trustee and board president of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey. In the mid-1990s, Bill served as executive vice president and a director of the Neuberger & Berman Trust Company. Bill is an honors graduate from Wesleyan University and Harvard Law School and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
Jim is responsible for client relationships and focuses his efforts in serving the planning needs of physicians. Jim has worked in the financial services industry since 1988 in the areas of company analysis and investment management. Previously, Jim was a portfolio manager, equity analyst and banking officer at several large financial institutions. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, a BA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Baruch College. Jim is a member of the Board of Trustees of the South Orange-Maplewood Education Foundation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA).
Jim has over twenty years of experience in managing investment portfolios and providing financial advice to individuals, families and charitable organizations in the New York metropolitan region. As Wealth Manager, he helps clients identify and achieve their financial goals utilizing sophisticated planning tools and implementing globally diversified investment portfolios. In addition to working with a full range of client needs, Jim has a particular focus in working with individuals affected by divorce. Jim helps to shape the firm's investing strategy as a member of RegentAtlantic's Investment Committee. Previously, Jim served as a Vice-President and Portfolio Manager with the US Trust Company of New York at their Florham Park office and held similar positions at Wachovia Bank, Chase Manhattan, SLH Asset Management and Mellon Bank. He has presented financial planning workshops for employees of a Fortune 500 company, provided pro bono financial counseling at area women's agencies and been quoted in numerous local and national media outlets on financial topics. Jim is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Project Acorn, serves on the Investment Committee and Board of Directors for Jersey Battered Women's Service and is a past President of the Board of Trustees at Montessori Children's House of Morristown. Jim holds a BA in Business from Western State College of Colorado, an MBA in Finance from Drexel University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations.
As Wealth Manager, Megan directly counsels and advises clients on wealth management with a particular focus on women affected by divorce. Megan started at RegentAtlantic in 2002 as an Analyst and implemented the firm's break through rebalancing software. She's also a member of RegentAtlantic's Estate Planning Committee. Megan holds a BA from St. Lawrence University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Megan now serves on the Kent Place School Alumnae Association Board. Prior to coming to RegentAtlantic, Megan worked in the financial services industry since 1999, including positions with Scudder Kemper Investments and Jamison, Eaton and Wood. She is working towards completing the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation.
Charlotte brings more than ten years experience in the wealth management Industry. She works with other team members and directly with clients to address the operational needs of the team's clients. Charlotte is the team liaison for RegentAtlantic's custodian relationships to establish new accounts, transfer accounts and facilitate wire procedures. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kent State University.
As a Team Assistant for Good Fortune, Christine's responsibilities include arranging and preparing Annual Reviews, handling Class Action claims, preparing Investment Policy Statements and processing Cost Basis data. She has been working in the financial services industry since 1995 serving in marketing and analytical capacities at investment firms such as Met Life, Smith Barney and Fidelity. Christine's charitable organizations include Junior Achievement, NY Cares and she often participates in fundraising events at her local church. She is currently pursuing her Business Management degree.
