Jim has over twenty years of experience in managing investment portfolios and providing financial advice to individuals, families and charitable organizations in the New York metropolitan region. As Wealth Manager, he helps clients identify and achieve their financial goals utilizing sophisticated planning tools and implementing globally diversified investment portfolios. In addition to working with a full range of client needs, Jim has a particular focus in working with individuals affected by divorce. Jim helps to shape the firm's investing strategy as a member of RegentAtlantic's Investment Committee. Previously, Jim served as a Vice-President and Portfolio Manager with the US Trust Company of New York at their Florham Park office and held similar positions at Wachovia Bank, Chase Manhattan, SLH Asset Management and Mellon Bank. He has presented financial planning workshops for employees of a Fortune 500 company, provided pro bono financial counseling at area women's agencies and been quoted in numerous local and national media outlets on financial topics. Jim is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Project Acorn, serves on the Investment Committee and Board of Directors for Jersey Battered Women's Service and is a past President of the Board of Trustees at Montessori Children's House of Morristown. Jim holds a BA in Business from Western State College of Colorado, an MBA in Finance from Drexel University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations.
As Wealth Manager, Megan counsels and advises clients on wealth management issues to help them achieve their financial goals and objectives. While Megan works with a full range of client needs, she has a particular focus on women affected by divorce. Megan started at RegentAtlantic in 2002 as an Analyst and implemented the firm's breakthrough portfolio rebalancing software. Megan holds a BA from St. Lawrence University as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ designations. Megan serves on the Kent Place School Alumnae Association Board. Megan has worked in the financial services industry since 1999, including positions with Scudder Kemper Investments and Jamison, Eaton and Wood.
As a Financial Advisor, John is responsible for managing client relationships and coordinating all aspects of client service for the team. He brings to RegentAtlantic almost two years of administration, compliance, and investment research experience working as an Associate with S.F. Ehrlich Associates. John is an honors graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a focus in real estate development. He serves on RegentAtlantic's Investment Committee. John will be eligible to post the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2011 and is currently preparing to sit for the Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.
Charlotte brings more than ten years experience in the wealth management Industry. She works with other team members and directly with clients to address the operational needs of the team's clients. Charlotte is the team liaison for RegentAtlantic's custodian relationships to establish new accounts, transfer accounts and facilitate wire procedures. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kent State University.
As an Analyst, Ann conducts analyses to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. She has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry with institutions such as Morgan Guaranty Trust, First Interstate Bank, and Bankers Trust. At BT Alex.Brown Securities, Inc., a division of Bankers Trust, Ann was a principal of the firm where she was responsible for the short term securities sales, trading, and investor services businesses. Ann earned her BA in Business Administration from Rutgers, her MBA in Finance from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, and is pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Ann is actively involved in her community, having volunteered at Habitat for Humanity of Morris County and Overlook Hospital TWIG #15.
As a Team Assistant, Ashley is responsible for performing various daily administrative tasks for her team including preparing annual reports, handling class action documentation and participating in the quarterly reporting process. Ashley graduated from Wake Forest University with a BS in Finance and a minor in French. While in college, she interned at Summit Asset Management and Cantor Fitzgerald. Ashley studied abroad for a semester at the American University of Paris and visited Calcutta, India with Wake Forest's City of Joy service trip working with the Missionaries of Charity.
