Named to the 2006 Robb Report Worth magazine listing of the top 100 Wealth Advisors in the country, Chris is Chief Investment Officer and architect of RegentAtlantic's investment philosophy and its analytical planning structure. Chris handles client relationships and provides expertise to the firm on concentrated stock positions, stock options and executive compensation plans. Chris has been providing wealth management services since 1985. He holds a BS in Economics, an MS in Financial Planning, an MBA in Finance, and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Chris has been an adjunct faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the County College of Morris. In 2003, New Jersey Business Magazine named Chris to its listing of top business leaders in New Jersey in its "Forty Under Forty". He is also past president of the New Jersey Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and has served on the Advisory Board of Financial Advisors for T.D. Waterhouse. Under Chris's leadership, RegentAtlantic Capital was named among the 50 fastest growing companies in New Jersey in 2005 and 2006 by New Jersey Business Magazine.
As a Wealth Manager, Brent directly counsels clients on wealth management and works with clients to create a road map to accomplish their goals and dreams. One area of focus for Brent is working with the wealth management needs of anesthesiologists, and he is currently conducting an extensive research effort into the future of anesthesiology. Prior to joining RegentAtlantic, Brent was with Wealth Builders, Inc. where he specialized in working with high net worth individuals, families and small business owners. Brent is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds a BBA in Finance and an MS in Personal Financial Planning and Business Administration from Texas Tech University. Texas Tech is considered to have the premier financial planning program in the country and is the only university in the United States to offer undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in Personal Financial Planning registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Brent is extensively involved in the Financial Planning Association (FPA), where he is a member at the National level on the Leadership Committee, the Tax Committee, and FPA NexGen. He is also a member of New Jersey FPA's Membership Committee and Press Response Team. Brent and his wife Tamela are active with The Seeing Eye, Inc. of Morristown and are Seeing Eye "puppy raisers."
As Team Leader, Jim is responsible for managing client relationships and coordinating all aspects of client service for the team. Prior to joining Regent Atlantic in 2007, Jim served as a Wealth Management Specialist for USI Bertholon Rowland, an insurance brokerage catering to law firms and bar associations. He also worked as a Financial Advisor with New England Financial, a subsidiary of MetLife. Jim received his BA in Economics from Rutgers University, as well as an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from Rutgers Graduate School of Management. He holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University in the CFP® program. Jim is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and serves on the Allied Professionals and Public Awareness committees. He's also a member of Regent Atlantic's Estate Planning Committee. Prior to his career in financial services, Jim held various marketing and sales positions in the music and media industries.
As an Analyst at RegentAtlantic, Christina uses her creative energy to assist clients achieve their financial goals based on the comprehensive analysis of each clients' needs. Christina graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 with a BS in Finance and a BS in Apparel, Housing, Resource, Management a degree of Family Financial Management which is a CFP Board-Registered Program. Christina represented the Virginia Tech team that competed and won the 2007 Ameriprise Financial Planning competition as well as having been a student volunteer at National FPA conferences over the past two years. At Virginia Tech, Christina was a member of the Cycling and Triathlon teams, and continues to be active in triathlons in the area. At RegentAtlantic, Christina is a member of the Estate Planning Committee. She is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Susan brings to the team an extraordinary depth of operational expertise related to account transfers, wire procedures, trading, and account reconciliation. She is the team’s liaison for RegentAtlantic’s various custodian relationships. Susan has worked in the financial services industry since 1982 and serves on the TD Ameritrade Operations Panel. Since joining RegentAtlantic as a clerical assistant, she has held a series of positions with increasing responsibilities. In 2002, Susan became a Registered Paraplanner through the College of Financial Planning.
As a Team Assistant, Allison is responsible for performing various daily administrative tasks for her team including preparing annual reports, handling class action documentation and participating in the quarterly reporting process. Allison graduated from Saint Michael's College in 2008 with a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in both Finance and Marketing. Allison created and presented a business plan in her school's Enterprise Business Plan Competition where she was a finalist. At Saint Michael's College, Allison was also a member of the women's basketball team where she helped her team win the Sportsmanship Award for her 2007-2008 season.
