Ed has over thirty years of experience advising business owners, professionals, and executives and has served as president of the Northern New Jersey Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. Responsible for client relationships, Ed brings a high level of expertise in advising business owners on pensions, succession planning and exit strategies. Ed has been a featured speaker for The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the New Jersey State CPA Society on topics related to pension and retirement plan investing. He is profiled and listed in Who's Who In Finance. Ed holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and is a Chartered Financial Consultant. He attended DePauw University, is a Chartered Life Underwriter, and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. Ed served as co-chair of the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race and also serves on the board of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey.
As Wealth Manager, Joe manages client relationships and has over twenty years of experience advising executives and business owners. Joe leads RegentAtlantic's Estate Planning Committee. He brings significant expertise in tax, retirement and business planning to the firm's clients. He is a member of the New Jersey Financial Planning Association Board, the Greater Middlesex/Somerset County Estate Planning Council Board and the Eldercare Committee of the NJ Society of CPA's. He has presented tax and financial planning seminars around the country on various topics including business succession and estate planning. Joe has been a teacher for the Life Underwriters Training Council. Previously, Joe served as a tax advisor for a major brokerage firm as well as a CFO, controller and consultant to business owners and large financial services companies. He received a BS in accountancy from Villanova University. Joe holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Certified Public Accountant and focuses on the planning needs of business owners and entrepreneurs.
As Wealth Manager, Tom directly counsels and advises clients on wealth management and financial planning. He has a BA from Bucknell University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Tom began his career at RegentAtlantic in 2000 as an Analyst, responsible for running financial independence analyses and portfolio rebalancing. In addition, he is a board member of The Financial Planning Association of New Jersey and Director of the Membership Committee. Tom is developing a focus in education and college planning.
As an Analyst at RegentAtlantic, Bob is responsible for helping clients meet their financial goals, based on analyses of each individual's retirement, estate planning, and insurance needs. He currently serves as Pro Bono Director for the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey. Bob brings to RegentAtlantic over 6 years of experience in the financial services industry, having served as a Private Mortgage Banker and Residential Loan Officer for Wells Fargo Bank. Prior to this position Bob was a Senior Manager for Business Management and Product Development at Lucent Technologies. Bob received an AB in Linguistics from San Diego State University. He also received an MS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Computer, Information and Control Engineering from The University of Michigan. He is pursuing a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.
Paula has worked in the financial services industry with an emphasis in banking since 1997. Paula joined RegentAtlantic as a Business Administrator and within a year was promoted to Client Service Administrator. Paula brings to the team an extraordinary depth of administrative and operational expertise related to account transfers, wire procedures, trading, and account reconciliation. She is the team's liaison for the Company's various custodial relationships. Paula attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
As a Team Assistant, James is actively involved in supporting two wealth management teams. While performing various administrative tasks, his foremost responsibilities include setting up annual reviews, producing Investment Policy Statements, processing class action documentation as well as participating in the quarterly reporting process. James joins RegentAtlantic Capital with nearly 6 years experience in the financial industry. He attended Grambling State University and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
