Our Technology

Impatient people are good at technology.

We hate doing repetitive tasks. Maybe it's too much coffee, but we'd rather put our energy into more creative work.

Our first breakthrough occurred in 1996 when we were too impatient to keep getting up from our desks to grab client files from the cabinet. Our solution was to start scanning all client files. With over ten years of client files on our servers we never have to get up. We can access all your documents from our desktops so we can answer your questions more quickly.

Five years ago we realized that we spent a long time rebalancing portfolios because asset classes were out of their target range or cash was added. The bulk of this time was spent getting the portfolio data organized (repetitive task) so that we could see the effects of a proposed investment recommendation. Our solution was to build an artificial intelligence engine that would monitor our client portfolios and make recommendations based on an elaborate decision tree that we co-developed. We called our tool iRebal and it is now used by over fifty investment management firms across the country.

In 2006 RegentAtlantic was recognized for our impatient nature. Watch video.

Time for more coffee!
